2023 Ironbark  Bull Sale Results 

=Top Price Bull: Lot 102 INB N622 Black Hawk T170 sold for $16,000 to the Boland Family, Nara Pastoral Holdings TAS.

T170 is in the top 15% for 400 day & top 8% for 600 day weight. All his Selection Index Values were $128 and greater.

=Top Price Bull: Lot 9 INB Daybreak S155 sold for $16,000 to Stuart Larsen, Mara Seeds Pty Ltd Casino NSW. Stuart bought 5 bulls for an average of $10,600.

Bill Zell bought 11 bulls averaging $9,450.00 and James Bishop came home with 4 bulls with a top price of $15,000.

2022 Ironbark  Bull Sale Results 

Top Price Bull: Lot 94 INB 7131E Domino S659 sold for $42,000 to Peter & Deanne Sykes, Mawarra Herefords Vic.

One of the youngest bulls in the draft at 13 months, he weighed 672kg, scrotal circumference 40cm & an eye muscle area of 103  squared cm.

2nd Top Price Bull: Lot 4 INB L065 Advance S104 sold for $35,000 to Noel & Liz Cook Kindon Station QLD. His milk figure is in the top 15%, 200 day weight in top 5%, 400 day weight in top 2%, 600 day weight in top 1%, and EMA is in the top 6% of the Hereford breed EBV's.

The Cook family also purchased Lot 9 INB 8120F Advance S029 for $26,000.

  • Top Price Bull Lot 1 INB Black Hawk P262 was sold to Liz & Noel Cook, Kindon Station QLD for $26,000. The Cooks also purchased Lot 82 INB Black Hawk N622 for $22,000.
  • The Bishop Family, Bando Station NSW purchased 4 bulls for a top of $13,000.
  • Ellerston Station, NSW bought 10 bulls for an average of $9,700.
  • The Boland Family, Nara Pastoral TAS puchased 11 bulls for an average of $11,000. Lot 26 INB True Grit P071 sold for $20,000, he's one of the 11 bulls making his way back to Tassie.
  • Australian Food & Ag, NSW purchased 17 bulls for an average of $5,600.

The Hicks family Running Creek, Dederang Vic have been bulk purchasers of Ironbark bulls for 36 yrs. Pictured is Angie Decker with her parents Janette and Stuart Hicks, husband Tom Decker and daughter Rosie.
